Uschi Disl Familie | Ursula „Uschi“ Disl ist eine ehemalige deutsche Biathletin. Sie gehörte mit zu den ersten international erfolgreichen deutschen Biathletinnen und hatte maßgeblichen Anteil a der steigenden Popularität dieser Sportart. Nach dem Ende ihrer Karriere und einem Jahr Babypause arbeitete Disl während der Biathlon-Weltcupsaison 2007/08 und 2008/09 als TV-Expertin bei der ARD.
Uschi Disl, born on November 15, 1970, lives with her partner Thomas Söderberg, their son and their daughter in Mora, Sweden.In 1992, at the Winter Olympics in Albertville, Uschi Disl won the first Olympic medal with the German relay team. The 2005/2006 season was the last season for the exceptional athlete.
On March 23, 2006, Uschi Disl announced her withdrawal from the Biathlon World Cup. She finished her career in fifth place in the World Cup. Uschi Disl now lives in the middle of nowhere. She and her partner Thomas Söderberg and their two children Hanna and Tobias settled in Mora, Sweden.

Disl’s athletic career in biathlon was hard to beat. When she was eleven she was given cross-country skis, and when she was 16 she had a rifle in her hand for the first time. After the end of her career more than 14 years ago, her calling card included two gold medals at the Olympics (nine medals in total) and eight world championship titles.
In the Biathlon World Cup seasons 2007/08 and 2008/09 Uschi Disl worked for ARD as an expert commentator. Women’s races were her primary focus while Ricco Groß was in charge of the men’s races at that location. This position was filled by Disl and Groß, who took over for the former biathlete Magdalena Forsberg.
Since February 2016, Uschi Disl has been a regular guest on the VOX programme “Ewige Helden.” The best athletes in Germany compete in a variety of competitions, which are shown in the documentary.Uschi Disl worked as an expert commentator for the German television network ARD during the Biathlon World Cup seasons 2007/08 and 2008/09.
